Spring has Sprung!

As the seasons change, so do my taste buds.

I wanted to share a yummy green juice recipe that I recently came across.  It is so simple and SOOOOO delicious:

Apple Lime Green Juice
2 leaves of organic Kale
2 LARGE organic Fuji apples
(if using non-organic apples, peel first.)
1 wedge (approx 1/6) of Lime

Juice the kale and apples.  Squeeze a wedge of lime into the juice.
ENJOY!!!  SO, SO yummy and refreshing!

Along with that, for breakfast I cut a banana into 1/2" thick rings and then dip one side into sunflower seeds.  I'm lovin it!

If I'm on the run, I just take a snack size bag of sunflower seeds and as I'm driving I take a bite of banana, dip the end into the sunflower seeds, and then take another bite. Easy snack for on-the-go lifestyles.

Another option to turn that snack into a dessert is to spread raw chocolate* onto the banana first, then dip it into sunflower seeds.  Oh yummmmm!!!!

*I do not currently have a recipe for raw chocolate. I received a sample jar with an order I placed and that is what I used. It is VERY good and I plan to experiment with the ingredients listed on the jar, which are as follows: raw agave nectar, raw cacao, vanilla bean and crystal salt. You may wish to experiment on your own.

Happy Spring!
